Conference attendees have a few options for housing, including finding housing rentals with friends or other attendees on the Whova app, or booking one of the rooms available for conference attendees at Georgetown University.

Located along the picturesque Potomac River in Washington, DC, the Georgetown University campus is an excellent place for visitors seeking a charming stay. It provides stunning views and a vibrant atmosphere, making it an inviting spot for those exploring the city. With easy access to key attractions and a rich cultural scene, it is a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement for out-of-town attendees.

Book a private room for yourself, get a shared room and request to be with a friend, or chosse a shared room with an assigned roommate and meet someone new! Attendees will stay at the Leavey Hotel, providing hotel-like accommodations at dorm-like prices. Each room has two single beds (linens included), a private bathroom, a small chest of drawers, a writing desk, an armoire closet, and a mini-fridge. Laundry facilities are available, there is free Wi-Fi, and there is also a lounge where attendees may gather outside of scheduled activities.

*Attendees signing up for a shared room including Thursday night will be assigned a roommate also staying Thursday. Those staying on Thursday but requesting a specific roommate who is not also staying Thursday should book a private room for Thursday night to facilitate the fulfillment of the roommate request for Friday-Monday.

Provided Transportation
The committee is providing a rented shuttle on Saturday and Sunday to take people to and from conference events! Enjoy the ease and comfort of free rides to and from the Georgetown Hotel in the beginning and end of the day. Attendees are also encouraged to coordinate ride hailing through the Whova app. Other options include the free Georgetown shuttle, other public transit, or dare walking The Exorcist Steps. If you plan to bring your own car you will need to find parking nearby, as there is no free parking on campus.
Campus Amenities
The Leavey Student Center, adjacent to the housing, has a food court with a variety of options to choose from. Guests wanting a quick bite will not have to walk far for a hot meal. Guests will also have access to the Yates Field House, the recreation and fitness center.

How to book
Registration for housing at Georgetown will only be open through Saturday, May 24! Attendees who choose to stay at Georgetown will add this option when registering for the conference. If you have already registered and decide you'd like to go back and add it, you can change your registration through the link in your confirmation email. Friends wishing to share a room together must both list the other as their preferred roommate to guarantee being assigned together. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
